The Byron Bay premiere was amazing! The tickets sold out straight away causing the movie to be screened two times in a row with a full house. Due to the big success the movie will be screening a third time at Lounge Cinema, Buddha Bar... Sunday 24 th October 7 PM.

Lounge cinema hosting the screening have 135 cozy seats and they sell beer! After the screening Buddha Bar is just next door where Ruby Blue will be jaming a feel-good vibe through a meld of jazz, reggae and hip hop.

We will start the party already at 1 pm, with a Jam at Byrons Dogtown Drain. Heaps of fun going on with Skating, Bungy Chords, Slakline, Bar b q and pumping beats. Early Skateboards will be giving away awesome prizes for best style, most stoked, best slam...

The Skate Australia documentary had 3 amazing Premiere screenings in Brisbane, Canberra and Oslo on the 11th September. In Norway they started of the Premiere day with a downhill race competing for the Norwegian Nationals. The ice cold rain did nt stop them from charging, gnarly Vikings!

The Canberra crew combined their screening with the annual Ditch race that is part of the Cone Head Cup tour. The screening in Brisbane was full of good vibes, hanging out in the park with beers, BBQ, skating and Tarp Surfing.

The response and feedback from the public has been overwhelming. For those who missed the premiere screenings, we will be touring down Australia’s east coast! So watch out Byron Bay, Bathurst, Sydney and Adelaide. There will also be screenings overseas in California, Germany and Sweden. Thanks to everyone who showed up at the screenings and made it a special day for us all to remember.

Premier for Skate Australia, in Oslo, Norway.

The Skate Australia premier is now screening in Oslo, Norway aswell! It will held in the big circus tent currently set up in the middle of Torvhovsparken, Oslo. It will also be the official After Party for the Norwegian Nationals in Downhill Skateboarding. That are held at the top of Grefsenkollen, Oslo. 10 -11 September.

Time: 8:00pm, Saturday, September 11
Location: Torshovparken, Sirkuslandsbyen.
Price: 50 kr

Jonatan & Sebastian from Dampling Productions are completing Anthony's Frickers dream after he sadly passed away during a film shoot. They have now produced a very touching and insightful back-story regarding the circumstances around Anthony’s death. It is a 8 minute documentary called Steep Descent.

The main stars from Skate Australia Steve Daddow & Jackson Shapiera are stilling proving themselves to be Australia’s best Skaters always ending up on the podium together.

Big congratulations to Jackson winning the Downhill competition at the Extreme Sports festival in Voss, Norway and Daddow for winning the Noosa Hill climb.

It has been along journey for the Skate Australia crew, since the Director Antony Fricker passed away 2 nd August 2009. The crew have been working hard to finish Anton's Dream and the movie is now in Post Production.

Anton's dream will be finished! The Swedish twin brothers Jonatan & Sebastian Lundmark from Dampling Production, have been working closely with Antony Fricker during the project. They have now taken over the whole project and will dedicate the coming year to finish Skate Australia while they finish their Bachelor of film at the SAE film institute in Byron Bay.
